International students please note: WCI EC Training graduates are not eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program in Canada.

General Information
WCI strongly recommends that all international students planning to travel to Canada fully understand the Government of Canada and BC Government laws and regulations before making travel plans. Please note that Government of Canada and BC Government restrictions and regulations are subject to change. Please check the government websites for the most up-to-date information. Medical Insurance
Those who are attending the Program from outside of Canada are strongly advised to make arrangements for medical insurance for the duration of the session/program while in Canada. This is the responsibility of the students. Accessing Healthcare

Housing

We are required by law to inform international students about tenancy rights in BC, though it will probably not be relevant due to the short-term nature of the training sessions.

Meals
Lunches are available on campus during training sessions. Please visit the Meals page of our website for information about purchasing lunches.

Policies
Visit the Policies page of our website for information about WCI’s policies, including the requirements to achieve satisfactory program progress and attendance.

Language Proficiency Policy
All applicants, regardless of their citizenship status or country of origin, must demonstrate an appropriate level of language proficiency. Please see our Language Proficiency Policy for details.

Here 2 Talk
Here2Talk connects post-secondary students with mental health support when they need it. Through this program, all students currently registered in a B.C. post-secondary institution have access to free, confidential counselling and community referral services, conveniently available 24/7 via app, phone and web.
