Caregiver Courses for Infants and Toddlers
It is out of the recognition of the needs of young children and their families that the West Coast Institute is offering new courses. These summer courses will bring an understanding of the developing child from pre-birth to seven years, with emphasis on the first three years, based on the insights of Waldorf pedagogy.

These are courses for child-care providers, nursery group teachers, parents, expectant parents, grandparents and other interested individuals.

First Year
Full Session. Five courses.

Second Year
Full Session. Five courses.

The following courses in the second year may be taken individually.

Supporting Infants and Young Children in Child Care
Presented by Bernadette Raichle. 1 course, 10 classes, taken over 10 days.

Wilma Ellersiek Hand Gesture Games and Puppetry
Presented by Marjorie Thatcher. 1 course, 8 classes, taken over 8 days.

Doll Making, Celebrating Festivals, Use of Weleda Preparations and Self Care
Presented by Bernadette Raichle. 1 course, 10 classes, taken over 10 days.

Eurythmy
Presented by Wendalyn von Meyenfeldt. 1 course, 10 classes, taken over 10 days.

Singing
Presented by Annette Olgaard-Lampson. 1 course, 10 classes, taken over 10 days.

Registration and Orientation on the evening of June 29

Tuition Costs

Year two. Full course
$100 registration fee
$1300 if you register by May 15, 2008
$1400 if you register after that date

Single courses
$50 registration fee
$300 per course if you register by May 15, 2008
$325 per course if you register after May 15, 2008
